Project: Poster - Soil and Water Conservation (Major Grade) Due Tuesday, January 22nd

Your child should have a hard copy of the following flyer in their journals on p.67.  Please see the links below for information about life in the soil and ways to conserve soil.  These are not the only resources that can be used, but I thought it might help.

Please NOTE:

  • Must be 2 dimensional, meaning not 3-D. (has to be able to stack on top of other posters)
  • Do your art work on the DULL side (the shiny side rejects the pigments and you'll have streaks!!)
  • Does NOT matter if poster is VERTICAL or HORIZONTAL
  • Must be on the size specified.  22'' x 14'' (This a piece of posterboard cut in half).
    • Stores often carry half size poster board, but be careful that it is not smaller.
    • NO science display boards.
  • Title must be EXACTLY the same: "Life in the Soil: Dig Deeper"
  • On the BACK SIDE (should be the shiny side).  You MUST, MUST have the following:
    • First Name, Last Name
    • Grade
    • Teacher's Name (Mrs. Schroeder or Mrs. Brown whichever you have)
    • Godley Intermediate 5-6 Campus
